I want to share with you guys one of my favourite quote by Marianne Williamson which says that,
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
It is actually bizarre how much we under-estimate ourselves. We look at talented people or the ones who have managed to achieve success after hard work, we think to ourselves that God has gifted them with something special. We reckon that we lack that something special.
But don’t you yourself say that God is the most just. He does justice to his people. Then how some of us are gifted and others are not.
I believe that we all have the capacity to do great. Some people fail to realize it and those who do reach to great heights.
Yes, we don’t have same circumstances. Some of us have really difficult circumstances and maybe we all think that we are in a difficult situation. But how we react to the situations makes us all different.
It has always been difficult for everyone. It was never easy.
Yet some of us don’t notice that the glass is half empty but they are busy noticing that the glass is half-full.
